FMF Approves Projects for Forest Communities

During the next year, Fundy Model Forest will be helping woodlot owners develop new marketing strategies and find new business opportunities, as well as helping rural communities and small towns develop processes to plan for their future.

Balsam Woolly Adelgid Linked to Warm Winter Temperatures Outbreaks of balsalm woolly adelgid, a pest that has been causing extensive damage to balsam fir trees in parts of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, has been linked to warm January temperatures in a study supported by Fundy Model Forest.
