Darren Sleep is Senior Forest Ecologist with the Canadian operations of NCASI. NCASI is a non-profit environmental research organization that seeks to create credible scientific information required to address the environmental information needs of the forest products industry in North America. Having operated successfully in the United States since 1943, NCASI opened an office in Montreal in 2002 to serve its Canadian member companies. Dr. Sleep received a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) in 1999, a MSc. in Biology from the University of Regina in 2001, and a PhD. in Ecology from the University of Guelph in 2006.
