Dr. Evelyne Thiffault, Natural Resources Canada
Evelyne Thiffault has a degree in forest engineering (2001) and a PhD in forest sciences (2006), both from Université Laval. Her doctoral studies focused on the ecological impacts of biomass harvesting in Quebec. She has been a postdoctoral researcher with the Canadian Forest Service in Quebec City since 2007, and conducts research on the effects of biomass harvesting and fast-growing plantations on nutrient cycling and site productivity.
