Design and implementation of bio-energy strategies into forest management scenarios for Crown land in New Brunswick

Jean-François Carle completed a technical degree in forestry at the “Cégep de Rimouski” in Quebec in 1999. He graduated from the cooperative program of Sciences in Forestry at the University of Moncton in 2006, and is now taking his Masters of Sciences in Forestry at the University of New Brunswick under Dr. David MacLean’s supervision. At the end of his Bachelor studies, he earned a Gold Medal from the Canadian Institute of Forestry in recognition of outstanding scholarship and citizenship throughout the years of the program. He also won second prize for the best scientific project at the Atlantic Bioenergy Conference in 2007. Mr. Carle is interested in forest planning and bioenergy production. His Masters project is about incorporating bioenergy production into forest management strategies for Crown land in New Brunswick.
